About the painting

I painted this scene after wishing for stillness, the kind that exists in quiet places by the sea. The girl sitting in front of the house isn’t just resting, she’s pausing between thoughts, surrounded by sunlight and salt air. It’s a portrait of time standing still, of life lived gently, one breath at a time.
